Paper.li has been one of the greatest tools I've found for finding content. With the free plan, you can subscribe to 10 content sources. These sources can be searches in Paper.li's Genius Source, direct feeds from sites you love, from twitter, really anything you want. I use this for both work and BIG and so far, it's algorithm for finding content is the best I've seen in any app or tool. It's "Genius" source truly is genius.
Your paper is automatically published at whatever time of day do you choose which means initially you'll get an email saying "Your Paper Name is Out". You can set it to auto-publish to Twitter, but I like to adjust the content in my paper first. In the Pro version, they have a specific draft function. While there isn't "draft" in the free part, if you don't have email subscribers to your paper and don't set it to auto-publish on twitter, then you can make changes prior to publishing to Twitter. It is not that Paper.li doesn't make good choices in terms of what they put in the headlines, but I like to actually read the articles and see if I want them to be my headlines. It's very easy to move and delete stuff based on your personal tastes.
You can choose from 2 different paper styles: Classic and Modern. Classic has the different sections at the top: Headlines, Photos, Leisure, Tech etc. like at the top of real newspaper website. If you click on a section, then it jumps down to it and has several articles listed in that category. In the Modern version, it's a sleek design but there aren't sections and you just keep scrolling through the articles without a particular category assigned or designated to each article.
I can't say enough good things about Paper.li. I have found so much good stuff to share and I don't even have to work at it. I just open up my paper every morning, read it with my cup of joe, migrate a few articles around that reflect what I'm feeling that morning, and bam publish! It also keeps my Twitter queue full on Buffer and Social Pilot as well! I thought when I first started using it that it would somehow dry up of ideas but that is definitely NOT the case. Every day there's useful insightful content!
